Citrus Heights police spokesman Bryan Fritsch said officers had pulled over a suspected stolen vehicle at about 11:30 a.m. on the 7000 block of Madison Avenue. The female occupant rammed one police vehicle and then drove away, leading to a pursuit at up to 70 mph. She subsequently rammed a second police vehicle on the 7500 block of Sunset Avenue just east of San Juan Avenue. At that point, officers shot and killed her.
