Police say shortly after 4:30AM, Washoe County sheriff's deputies responded to reports of an intruder trying to get into a home on Scorpio Circle, near Geiger Grade in south Reno. When deputies got there, they found a man matching the description given by the witness. At least one deputy fired and the suspect was killed.
