About 10 a.m. McMillan sideswiped two cars and fled, attracting police notice that he had outstanding warrants for felony robbery. They tracked him to his mother's house where McMillan staged armed resistance and a firefight in the front yard. At least a dozen shots were fired. No officers were struck but McMillan was killed.
