Officers responded to reports that Hall had barricaded himself inside of an apartment with a rifle and was reportedly holding a woman there against her will. Officers responded to the home, and Hall managed to exit the apartment with the woman through a broken window. Officers later caught up to Hall and the woman and claim Hall raised a long gun at an officer. The officer then shot and killed Hall.
