A suspect allegedly ran from officers during a police checkpoint. Officers began to pursue the vehicle, and the driver got out of the car and ran. Police called in K9 assistance, and allege the person shot at a K9. The person continued to run and evade police, and was caught up to a few hours later. While negotiating, a gunshot was heard and the person was pronounced dead.
