An officer on patrol noticed a car with several occupants blocking the entrance of an apartment complex. While the officer was speaking with the driver of the car, another passenger got into the driver's seat and drove off, striking the officer. Later, officers found the vehicle outside of a residence and attempted to enter. Officers say a person jumped out of a second-story window and pointed a firearm at them. Officers shot and killed the individual.
