Officers responded to a home at about 8:04 a.m. on a report of a subject threatening suicide. While officers were en route, they heard that gunshots had been fired and that a person had left the location. Officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds and learned then that the suspected shooter was at large. When the suspected shooter was found, one Carmel police officer shot and killed Julio Virula.
