Around 2 a.m., Muncie officers were called to investigate a report of a suicidal person. After about 20 minutes, the person was found in an alley, sitting in a car, under a carport, behind a home. As officers approached, the man got out of the car and pointed a handgun at an officer. Taylor Christian Warner failed to follow officer's orders to drop the gun and continued pointing it at an officer, and police shot and killed him.
