Thomas Mack allegedly shot his child's mother's friend. An officer who was nearby responded to the shooting and confronted Mack, but he pulled out his gun. The officer called for backup while following him, as he continued walking on the street with his gun still visible. Mack walked into an empty field. When officers used a Taser to try to subdue him, Mack reportedly shot at the five officers, who shot and killed him.
