Officers were at Jesse Owens Park when a woman approached them and said she was a victim of domestic assault. Officers located the suspect, Raymond Edwards, on another side of the park. Police claim he was holding a "sharp-edged weapon." Officers told Edwards to drop the weapon, and police state he didn't. Police then allege Edwards began to advance towards them, and two officers shot and killed Edwards.
