Officers responded to a call at about 6 p.m. Daniel Rivera allegedly removed a window screen from one residence and entered the garage of another. Witnesses reportedly told police they observed Rivera trespassing on their property and apparently talking to himself. Rivera scaled a chain-link fence and dropped down into a reservoir. A struggle began when officers tried to handcuff Rivera. Rivera was shocked with stun guns. Once handcuffed, Rivera stopped struggling and died.
