Port of Seattle police contacted SPD with a report of a "man in crisis" who was armed with a knife and had reportedly cut himself. When officers arrived, the man allegedly ran away with the knife. Officers approached the man and attempted to use less-lethal tools to stop him, but they were ineffective. The man allegedly moved towards the officers and they shot him.
