Officers responded to reports of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, they were engaged by an allegedly armed man inside the residence. Officers were given an arrest warrant, but the man refused to exit the home. Police requested a SWAT team, and began to negotiate with Hannon for over 10 hours. At one point, shots were reportedly fired between Hannon and officers on the scene. Hannon was shot and killed.
