RE: Jason Dennis Watkins Killed by Georgia State Patrol

9/1/2021 - I am Jason's sister. That officer took his life that night. He can tell his side all he wants to, that he fired because he feared for his life. That he thought Jason was going to hit him with the car. That is a LIE. The officer fired 6 bullets into the car. The car went into a low ditch. Jason came out the passengers side with his hands up. No shirt on. He went to his knees and another officer pushed him face down in the ditch. The reason I know this is because I am the only one in my family to go to the district attorneys office, Jack Browning and watch the dashcam from when Jason turned around to avoid the DUI check point, the chase, the stop, girlfriend getting out screaming, Jason driving forward, being shot, the camera was behind the firing officer, until the end. He was murdered.
