Douglas Sanchez had been sought in connection with a Sept. 30 shooting in which he allegedly fired three shots at a man who was working on a car. Officers found him in a car a week later. The officer chased him on foot for a short distance, when Sanchez allegedly brandished a weapon and was shot. He died on Oct. 19.
