Davis was reportedly strangling a woman, Hazel Hinds, during a heated domestic argument. Officer Bobby Harrelson, Davis's nephew and Hinds' son was off duty and opened fire with his service weapon, authorities said. This is not the officer's first shooting, and a baby and dog were injured during the shootout.
