Taylor County Deputy Robert Lundy was on duty, getting his patrol car serviced at the dealership on the 24-hundred block of South Byron Butler Parkway. That's when Claugue crashed his vehicle into the front of the building and opened fire. Deputy Lundy and the suspect exchanged shots, and Claugue was killed.
