Police were called to a home with a report a man had been there and threatened someone with a firearm, but had left the residence. A description of the person went out to patrol officers who spotted a vehicle and person matching the description. When they stopped him, the driver was ordered to show his hands and exit the vehicle. Police said the man had a firearm in his hand and ignored the officers' orders, at which point the officers shot and killed him.
