Mexico State Police say an officer shot and killed a woman after a high speed chase because she backed up her vehicle toward him. According to the latest police report, 39-year-old Jeanette Anaya fled from a state police officer as he attempted to pull her over in Santa Fe just after 1 a.m. State police said the chase reached speeds of 87 mph in a residential neighborhood. The officer bumped Anaya's vehicle using a pursuit intervention technique and the chase ended near Camino Carlos Rey and Las Casitas.
