Deputies responded to a call of a man walking in the middle of the road at an intersection. Police said the man, Henry Gregory Stroud, was holding a pistol and appeared to be agitated. Officers made contact with Stroud and ordered him to drop the weapon. He did, but then picked up the gun and pointed it at officers, who shot and killed him.
