Bunch's relative reported that Bunch had stolen his car. Clairborne County deputies spotted and pursued Bunch, who allegedly fired shots. Multiple LE agencies pursued until Bunch stopped, exited and allegedly created a standoff which included hostage negotiators. Bunch allegedly got in and out of his car several times with a pistol and a shotgun. "During the confrontation, Bunch was shot by law enforcement." Which agency shot him has not been reported.
