Deputies Phil Pfeifer, Veronica Van Patten and Travis West responded about 9:30 p.m. to a home after a family member reported Sergey Rumyantsev was screaming, out of control, and breaking items in the house. He reportedly had barricaded himself in the basement. Deputies used a stun gun to subdue him; however, it took several deputies to restrain him. Rumyantsev became unresponsive and died.
