A woman was driving the vehicle and reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident, but her name was not immediately released. Police said the woman allegedly rammed a Fremont County sheriff's deputy's patrol car and nearly struck a CaƱon City police car while she was driving recklessly on eastbound U.S. 50. Deputies intentionally rammed the woman's car, forcing it to a stop in an open field, but the woman then continued to drive away.
