Two Hermantown police officers and a St. Louis County sheriff's deputy pursued a motorcyclist through Hermantown at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour. St. Louis County sheriff's deputies spotted the motorcyclist a short time later. The motorcycle became stuck after a short pursuit, and he attempted to flee on foot. At one point during the encounter, shots were fired. At another point, the subject was struck by a squad car.
