At 8:50 p.m. deputies and state police responded in reference to a possible domestic disturbance. Michael E. Robbins allegedly brandished a loaded firearm and pointed the handgun at his wife and threatened to kill her. She left. When officers arrived, Robbins barricaded himself into his residence and communicated through a window to the officers. At 4:16 a.m. Robbins reportedly fired on the officers. Bonneville County Sheriff's Sergeant Tony Glenn shot and killed him.
