Mission police received a call for a domestic disturbance between a man and his adult son. The man said his son was outside with an ax, hitting the house and a vehicle. When police arrived to the scene, they said David Green outside with a machete. Officers told Green to put the weapon down, but he got into his truck and drove at an officer. The police fired shots at Green. He led police on a chase through the RV park and struck a patrol vehicle. Green tried to hit more officers with the vehicle and was shot and killed. It has been reported he was off his medication.
