Bakersfield Police Department received a report of a male brandishing a knife and threatening employees at the Amtrak Station. Several minutes later, a second call was received from an employee of Amtrak who stated this same suspect was now charging at employees with a knife. Within minutes of the second call, a Bakersfield police detective arrived and contacted the suspect. During the contact, the detective shot and killed him.
