Deputies stopped the car that Wagner was riding in for a faulty tail light and were speaking with the driver, a pregnant woman, when Wagner began shooting at the deputies, police said. The officers returned fire, killing Wagner. The woman was shot in the shoulder during the exchange and is being treated for her injuries, police said.
