Officers were called to remove an out-of-control family member, who was suspected to be under the influence of drugs. One family member reported being assaulted, and family members wanted the man removed from the house. The man allegedly was allegedly threatening people with objects as weapons inside the house. He began to barricade himself inside. He confronted officers standing outside the back door with a knife in his hand. Two less lethal options were reportedly tried to no effect. He was ordered to drop the knife, and when he charged at the officers, the officers shot and killed him.
