Around 6 p.m., police received a call from a frantic woman, saying her fiancé was loading a rifle and going outside. When officers arrived, they found Michael Dansby in the middle of the street with a rifle in his hand. Officers shot and killed him. Police said in the days leading up to the shooting, Dansby believed his neighbors were watching him. Dansby was on his way to confront his neighbors when he was shot by the officers.
