Police were called to The Douglas at Stonelake apartments at about 11 a.m. with reports of gunshots. Arriving officers discovered a 39-year-old and a 33-year-old woman dead in an apparent shooting, with a 16-year-old girl also suffering a gunshot wound. The suspected gunman was then found by police armed with a handgun inside a nearby vehicle with a 12-year-old boy held as a hostage. Officers attempted to talk with Jason Neo Bourne, but when he held his gun to the boy's head, officers shot and killed him.
