Officers responded to a report of gunshots at an apartment complex. Arriving officers allegedly encountered two men running through the complex, one of whom they claim was armed with a firearm. The two men were taken into custody and informed officers they were shot at by Holt. Officers went to Holt's apartment and allegedly witnessed him fire one round before going back inside. Officers began to set up a perimeter, when Holt allegedly exited the apartment with a gun. Officer Erik Lindberg shot and killed Holt.
