A Florida high school student proved he deserves a wrestling scholarship by body slamming a police officer last week. Unfortunately, this campus hero did not get the treatment he deserved. Rather than help him take a stand against government overreach, school staff members and some students came to the officer's aid. The boy was subsequently kidnapped by the government and held hostage as a political prisoner, but was probably released.
The officer, Russell Ball, is an 18 year veteran of the Saint Cloud Police Department who has been employed as a school resource officer at Saint Cloud High School for the past 12 years. Probably though it would be an easy job and obviously got way too comfortable. Should have known someone would eventually recognize police officers as the threats to campus safety that they are and do something about it.
The boy now faces charges of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest with violence for his heroism.
