Michael Abo was fired and decertified. According to DPSST Ethics Bulletin vol. 121:
Officer F was discharged for cause after an internal investigation revealed that while on a
last chance agreement he failed to attend a Grand Jury appearance which he was
subpoenaed to attend. Officer F received progressive discipline which led to the last chance
agreement after failing to honor five different subpoenas. Officer F was issued a Notice of
Intent to Revoke, and he requested a hearing. A hearing was held and the Administrative
Law Judge issued a Proposed Order affirming DPSST’s Notice of Intent to Revoke. Officer F
failed to file exceptions to the Proposed Order. Officer F was served with an Amended
Proposed Order and he failed to file exceptions.
Officer F’s Basic Police Certification is Revoked.
