This is the full and unedited video of George Floyd's arrest and subsequent murder by Minneapolis police officers Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, Tou Thao, and J Alexander Kueng. This footage comes from the body cameras worn by Thomas Lane and J Alexander Kueng. It begins in the convenience store where the clerk fingers Floyd, then they go outside, and the rest is infamy. A judge recently ordered that the public be allowed to view the videos. Until now the videos could only be viewed by appointment with the court.
Derek Michael Chauvin remains in custody charged with second degree murder. Chauvin is of course the sadistic officer that kept his knee on Floyd's neck. Tou Thao posted bail last month and is now loose in the community. He was the second most senior officer on the scene behind Chauvin. He can be seen standing between Chauvin and bystanders filming the murder. J Alexander Kueng was an experienced security guard that worked in loss prevention for years before becoming a Minneapolis Police officer shortly before Floyd's murder. As a security guard he should have been taught that putting one's knee on a suspects neck should not be done. His lawyer argues that Kueng was an inexperienced rookie cop, but his combination of police training and experience as a rental cop for many years should have been enough for him to know better. He has also posted bail and is now at large. Thomas Kiernan Lane has also posted bail and is now at large lurking in society. His lawyer was the one making the biggest stink about his alleged inexperience saying he had only been on the job for a few days at the time of the murder. Those statements were very misleading because as Lane's personnel files show, Lane was an experienced correctional officer for years before becoming a police officer. Correctional officers undergo the same use of force training as police officers. Lane also had a criminal record before being charged in Floyd's murder.
