Kenosha County Assistant District Attorney (ADA) Carli McNeill targeted an underage boy this week with a charging document accusing him of several crimes including murder for defending himself from a convicted sex offender known for sexual abusing minors. On August 26th an underage boy was in Kenosha hoping to live out his boyhood dream of being a cop by riding along with civilians that had volunteered to help defend private property from looters when convicted sex offender Joseph Rosenbaum attacked him for reasons unknown. Rosenbaum was convicted of having sexual contact with a minor in 2002 and served several years in the custody of the Arizona Department of Corrections before being required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. It is not clear what role if any Rosenbaum's sexual deviancy played in his decision to attack 17 year old Kyle Rittenhouse of Antioch, Illinois. Rittenhouse tried to run away as fast as he could, but Rosenbaum charged at him like a rabid animal and never gave up his pursuit. Eventually, Rosenbaum closed within feet of the boy and was shot in the head.
After continuing to flee on foot, a group of people pursued Rittenhouse down the street, and pounced on him after he fell to the ground. At that point he opened fire in self defense and killed 26 year old Anthony Huber after Huber tried to hit him with a skateboard. A man that had pulled a gun on Rittenhouse was shot in the arm and seriously wounded. Rittenhouse then walked away from the scene past police after flashing a secret hand sign at them, so he was obviously working with the police on some level. We are not aware of Rittenhouse ever assisting in any arrests, just that the police gave him water, and said "good job" when they saw him standing outside a building with his rifle earlier in the evening. Rittenhouse had come to Kenosha with a group called the Kenosha Guard for the stated purpose of helping defend private property from protesters that had looted and burned buildings on previous nights. The police essentially gave them their blessing only to have prosecutors throw Rittenhouse under the bus the second things got real.
A criminal complaint signed in part by McNeill followed shortly, Rittenhouse was picked up at his home in Illinois, and is now fighting extradition. The complaint charges him with first degree intentional homicide for killing the sexual predator that accosted him. It also charges him with reckless homicide for killing Huber in self-defense and a few other charges including being a minor in possession of a firearm. Of those charges he is only guilty of being a minor in possession of a firearm and that crime is a misdemeanor. We are posting the above addresses for the same reason we have posted addresses of other prosecutors and police in the past, to encourage non-violent peaceful demonstrations at those locations. We usually dox pro-Trump cops but have no problem treating their anti-Trump colleagues just the same as them. We would love to see a peaceful crowd of pro-gun pro-Second Amendment protesters make themselves heard lawfully at those locations. We are willing to remove the address if McNeill drops all charges except the one that Rittenhouse actually is guilty of or if she withdraws from the case.
