Jay Bishop of Patriot Prayer a.k.a. Aaron Danielson was shot and killed in downtown Portland, Oregon near the Justice Center in what appears to have been a self defense shooting earlier tonight. Michael Reinoehl has been named as the suspect by several unconfirmed online sources including one that appears to match an image of the shooter filmed earlier tonight with pictures of Reinoehl that show a matching tattoo (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/08/4chan-users-appear-identified-portland-rioter-shot-killed-trump-supporter/). Assfault Pirates captured part of the incident on their live stream and was originally reporting that a person of color in a red car fired three shots, one man was down, the man down was not moving, and was last seen in an ambulance (https://twitter.com/EricWasserman1/status/1299921732594053122). The red car may have been a Dodge Charger, but after reviewing video from other angles we have concluded that the red car was not involved and the shooter was a man in white clothes the we believe could be Caucasian named Michael Reinoehl.
After analyzing the original stream of this shooting from Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10221132149871196&id=1167905585 and adding a clip from it embedded below, we believe that it shows the dead Patriot Prayer guy spraying something at the shooter. We also believe we hear a brief spraying sound before the first shot. If that is pepper spray than this is a self defense shooting. The Multnomah County District Attoreney's Office (MCDA) (https://twitter.com/MultCoDA/status/1299929181694771201) announced Bishop's death not long after the shooting. This photo of Bishop from a different angle clearly shows a Thin Blue Line flag on his shorts (https://twitter.com/stillgray/status/1299944855095787521/photo/1) and The New York Times is reporting that he was wearing a Patriot Prayer hat (https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/30/us/portland-trump-rally-shooting.html).
The video shows only two shots and not three as originally reported. A photo of the deceased has surfaced from earlier in the day, According to Portland Tribune reporter Zane Sparling, he refused to be interviewed but the guy with him said they were there to stop people from attacking people, they also had paintball guns and knives (https://twitter.com/PDXzane/status/1299850435071627264/photo/2).
Another reason to doubt that this was a pre-meditated hit is because of how easy it was for 4Chan users to identify the shooter. He was pictured earlier in the day wearing the same outfit minus the kung flu mask. He didn't even bother to cover the tattoo on his neck and we are not aware of any other white guys with a tattoo like that. If he planned on shooting someone don't you think he would have worn a better disguise?
Anyone with any brains that has seen a real crime movie would know to cover up the tattoo, not allow people to photograph him without the mask on, and would have worn some better get away shoes than Birkenstock sandals.
UPDATE: This article is currently being rewritten to better document our belief that the shooter was defending himself from an attacker armed with pepper spray or bear mace.

UPDATE: Friends of Aaron "Jay" Danielson released this video today calling for an end to violence https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSJn7ixpKdM we hope that their prayers are answered. We think that people are so scared of each other right now that they are quick to pull the trigger when they feel threatened. If it were not for these fears we don't think that Danielson would have been shot in the first place. When he maced or pepper sprayed Reinoehl we think he feared the worst and responded.
