Category: Police - City
Last Known Station Address:
300 Indiana Avenue NW

The Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C. announced that Officer Alexander Alvarez fired the fatal shot that killed 18 year old Deon Kay earlier this week. MPD also said that Alvarez has been with the department since 2018. Unfortunately, there are way too many people named Alexander Alvarez in the Washington D.C. area to get more information quickly, but we are trying to find out more about him. We are looking for a middle name, pictures, social media profiles, etc. so if you have any of that information please contact us or post it in the comment section on this page.

We do know that Alvarez shot Kay after Kay threw his gun away from Alvarez (see video below). We did a frame by frame analysis and concluded that the shooting was not justified (https://copblaster.com/blast/25948/deon-kay-shooting-video-shows-kay-threw-gun-before-shots-were-fired).

The MPD is now trying their best to smear Kay in an effort to protect Alvarez. The entire thing is a smoke screen. Assuming he was a verified violent gang member, that still does not justify shooting him for throwing a gun. Kay obviously never tried to harm Alvarez.
