Flint Police Officer Justin McLeod was arrested earlier this week and has since been formally charged with nine sex crimes involving a girl under the age of 13. The charges include four counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct, two counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct, accosting a female for immoral purposes, indecent exposure, and unlawful imprisonment. He was booked into the Genesee County Jail and we are not sure if he is still there or not because we could not find an online inmate roster for that jail.
Not much is known about the circumstances of the caser at this time. The victim has been described as a female under the age of 13 within McLeod's circle of influence. He is believed to have sexually assaulted her multiple times over the past two years.

We have never before found a case where two different people with the same first and last name are listed as being the same age and living on the same street. The first record says that Justin Ryan McLeod was born in January of 1984 while Justin Eric McLeod was born in September of 1984. The second record matches the information from the court. Both records list the other as a possible 1st generation relative. A 1st generation relative is typically a parent, sibling, or child of the person in question (https://www.genome.gov/genetics-glossary/First-Degree-Relative). Since these two people are the same age one cannot be the parent or child of the other. That means that these are either two brothers with the same first name or the same person. Their birthdays are nine months apart, so are these two brothers whose mother gave them both the same first name or are they the same person? We think they are the same person. All other cases involve traffic citations or issues related to a vehicle. Things like window tinting and negligent driving violations. The profile for Justin Eric McLeod only includes a 2002 Ohio citation for speeding (case number 02TRD06313).
So, who is the real Justin McLeod? Are these different people or one person using different names? The record for Justin Ryan McLeod lists his Flushing address as a home owned by a relative with the same last name at 6219 N MCKINLEY RD. We think that McLeod was using two different addresses on the same street to receive mail. One was his residence and the other was the home of a relative. The 6219 address is that of a 1st generation relative and the 6343 address is that of two 2nd degree relatives. This indicates that both Justin McLeod's are in fact the same person. There is of course the possibility that someone impersonated Justin McLeod using a different middle name and known addresses of his relatives, but the likelihood of that producing these kinds of records is quite small.
