Fort Worth Police Lieutenant Gary Hawley was found passed out drunk in a carpool lane with a kid in the backseat next to an elementary school at 3:30 in the afternoon in Grapevine, Texas recently. Grapevine Police arrested him on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a child under the age of 15. We are not sure if he was picking his kid up from Cannon Elementary School at the time or if the kid in the car was even his. The Grapevine Police booked him into jail and took the above mugshot. As you can see in the mugshot he appears to be totally wasted.

Following his arrest, the Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD) confiscated Hawley's gun and badge after placing him on restricted duty status. While on restricted duty status he will not be allowed to act as an officer in any capacity. He has been with the FWPD for 14 years. An internal investigation has also been launched.
