Two Montgomery Police officers have been arrested this past week in separate seemingly unrelated cases. On April 3rd Nathaniel Miles was arrested for using his official position for personal gain. Officer Meshach Franklin was charged with third degree criminal trespass on Thursday. Both have been placed on administrative leave pending the outcomes of their cases and related internal investigations.
According to public records, Nathaniel Miles is a 36 year old resident of Montgomery, Alabama. He has no prior criminal record.
According to public records, Meshach Franklin is a 24 year old resident of Montgomery, Alabama, but the media is reporting that Franklin is 29 years old. Franklin has no prior criminal record.
