Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officer Medgar Webster Sr. was arrested last weekend for working at Whole Foods while on the clock as an MPD officer. Webster is accused of collecting over $35,000 in pay including overtime for time spent working at Whole Foods while on duty over the past couple years or so. In addition to the fraud, Webster is accused of failing to seek authorization to work at Whole Foods or fill out forms all MPD officers are required to fill out before working elsewhere. Webster is the former head of the D.C. Police Union.
