Megan Rapinoe Takes a Knee in Protest Just Like Cop Blaster
Megan Rapinoe Kneeling

I was just watching Anderson Cooper and learned that Megan Rapinoe of the US Women's Soccer Team took a knee during the national anthem in 2016. This was just a few months before I took a knee at FCI Sheridan during stand-up count in the Special Housing Unit (SHU) where I was being kept for standing up for my rights in general population. I was inspired by the NFL and had no idea that she did it too. When I found out that she did it before me I was kind of disappointed because I can't accuse her of copying me or stealing my idea. She took a knee for reasons similar to mine. To protest stuff she did not like. In my case I did not like being harassed whenever I did not bother to stand up when the guards told everyone to stand for count.

When I was at USP Victorville I never had to stand during count. As long as they could tell that you were alive the guards did not care, so I really wasn't interested in standing just because FCI Sheridan is full of lames that don't stand up for themselves. One day I had had enough, so I waited for the next CO to tell me to stand while I was comfortably sitting during count. When he did I took a knee and refused to stand up. I think to CO's name was Bowen, but I don't remember for sure. The punk even wrote me up, but when the SHU lieutenant came to give me the shot he thought it was stupid too and tore it up, so I can't refer to anything for a name or a document to upload.
