Dennis M. Wong, the Regional Counsel at the Federal Bureau of Prisons Western Regional Office is actively covering up the abuse of federal inmates. I know this because I was one such inmate. After getting released from USP Victorville I filed a FOIA to get a surveillance tape that was in the custody of the internal affairs officer at FCC Victorville. Mr. Wong responded by hiding behind a bunch of laws claiming that releasing the tape would endanger the safety of law enforcement personnel, invade privacy, etc. The only person's privacy it would invade is mine and I do not see how a tape of me getting assaulted by correctional officers endangers anyone. I have since filed a tort and it looks like I will have to sue in order to get it.
In addition I asked for the full names of the perpetrators. I have a right to know who they are in order to sue them.
