Seminole Police Officer David Young was fired and arrested this past week after backing his car into a SUV at the Casey's General Store in Seminole. The crash and subsequent interview were caught on camera. Young appeared to be in the process of passing out when a fellow officer recognized him and began asking questions. Young's speech was comically slurred which made charging him with drunk driving easy even though he refused a sobriety test.
Young had been with the Seminole Police Department (SPD) for less than a year. The victim's vehicle suffered minor damage.
