Jersey City Police Officer Stephen Wilson was caught in an online predator sting after traveling to Atlantic City hoping to meet a pair of underage girls for a good time yesterday. Those girls turned out to be adult that were corresponding with Wilson online. They had infiltrated in an incent chat group and agreed to provide Wilson with "access" to what he believed were two prepubescent girls in exchange for $200. The decoys claimed that the girls were 10 and 8 years of age. Wilson also agreed to bring condoms if he intended to engage in sexual intercourse with the children. He had condoms and over $500 in his possession when he was arrested.
Wilson was booked into the Atlantic County Jail on charges of Conspiracy to Commit Human Trafficking (1st degree), Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault (2nd degree), and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (3rd degree). He faces up to 20 years in prison and a $200,000 fine.
